The Dallas Cowboys open the 2009 regular season on the road at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday September 13th. They will face a Tampa Bay Buccaneers that is in a bit of a rebuilding mode. Much like the Cowboys, the Bucs fell short of their own expectations last season and used their 2009 first round draft selection on quarterback Josh Freeman out of Kansas State, although he will likely learn in a backup role for the near future. Raheem Morris will be in his first year as a head coach as well. Whoever wins this first game will have a nice boost of confidence for the rest of the season.
Tampa Bay games routinely sell out, and Raymond James Stadium seats slightly over 65,000 for Buccaneers games, so try to get your tickets early!
