When the Dallas Cowboys decided to build a new stadium, they also decided to use the personal seat license or PSL to generate additional revenue. If you want to buy season tickets for the Cowboys new stadium, which is set to open in 2009, you will need to buy a PSL for each seat if you want to continue to buy season tickets on an ongoing basis. Jerry Jones blew away all of the other teams when setting the PSL prices. Dallas Cowboys PSL's run anywhere from $4,000 per seat all the way up to $150,000 per seat. That is not a misprint, $150,000 per seat! The highest any other NFL team charges for their most expensive PSL's are $20,000 per seat by the Carolina Panthers. The PSL's can be resold at a later date if you decide you don't want to renew your season tickets, so you will get some or all of your original PSL money back. You might even make a profit, although that is never a guarantee. There is actually a waiting list just to purchase Dallas Cowboy PSL packages, but you can find PSL's and the rights to purchase PSL's here.
